Join me for an afternoon of community, wise counsel & ceremony to craft your own Totemic (animal-kin) Mask.
Totemic masks have been used in ritual and ceremony as a tool to cross liminal thresholds for thousands of years. Mask-wearing ceremonies were (and still are in some countries and cultures) common-place during the Pagan Sabbats - celebrations of the solstice(s) and seasonal shifts. Totemic masks invite us into our instinctual-animal body (anima) as a powerful vessel of transformation. In this workshop, we honour this animal-kinship by crafting our very own Ritual Totemic Mask.
Once registered, participants will receive prompts on ‘calling in their animal-kin’ and ways to work with animistic energy.
This workshop will be held in a relaxed-ceremonial manner, shifting between deep process and communal creativity. A collection of art / crafts will be supplied (including your mask), however, I encourage you to seek, thrift and / or gather embellishments that compliment your chosen animal-kin.
